Upcoming  Reunion - Las Vegas, October 19-21, 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn on South Las Vegas Blvd...aka "THE STRIP!!"  Special room rates for us...make reservations ASAP.  Start making plans to attend...NOW!! 

• "Meet and talk" Friday at 6:30PM

• Breakfast Saturday morning

• Banquet/Dinner Saturday night at 6PM

• Breakfast on Sunday

• ...the sad farewells.

Possible activities: 

• Skype conferencing for those who can't make the trip.  We'll try to have several computers up and running for this activity. 

• Storytelling: Video record of our stories, to be posted on this site.

• Mementos: Bring 'em so we can all remember with you.

• Pictures: We'll have scanners available to capture and label your pictures, for posting on our "Wall".

• History:  Anybody written one??  Diaries? Letters to/from home? 

I don't know about all of you, but my kids and grandkids don't really know much about my "war".  Maybe that's a good thing, but someday they'll want to know.  I plan to leave something for them. 

These reunions started in:

Salt Lake City - 2004 

April 30 - May 2, 2004 at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah was a great success! We had 31 vets there, a reporter from the New York Times, for a total attendance of over 50. Many brought scrapbooks, pictures,  clothing, etc. Sharon "Sam" Stanley even showed up Saturday night IN HER FATIGUES  from 1969...which still fit! Everyone was pretty impressed! There were many emotional moments during the weekend and many friendships renewed. By  the end, everyone felt very close. It was a wonderful event.
